Voidstar Productions DJs Deftly-D and Josh B bring 3 hours of music every Monday night from 7-10pm (est) to 90.3FM WZBC Newton, MA (United States) and streamed to the world at http://www.wzbc.org. In 1991 DJ Deftly-D began DJing electronic and experimental music at 91.5 FM WJUL (now WUML, previously WLTI) in Lowell, MA. The longest running and final radio show name was the High Voltage Circumcisio

n show. During this run Deftly-D began making and performing music in Zero times Infinity, Nau-Zee-auN, The Catastrophe Orchestra, Data Bank A, Dominion, and the Hawaiian Shirt Mafia and trained several interns that went on to make music in the bands TerrEtroN, Many Small Functions, O.J.A.M.O.J. Deftly-D hosted live broadcast nights that would sometimes take over shows before and after the scheduled time to have up to 13 bands performing in a single night. Artists that performed (and often got their first break) included:

After a decade long run, in 2001, Deftly-D took a break from radio DJing to focus on produing and performing in his bands Zero Times Infinity and Nau-Zee-auN. In 2009 Deftly-D's High Voltage Circumcision Show returned to the air on 90.3 FM WZBC as part of their long running No Commercial Potential series. DJ Josh B has joined Deftly as co-host starting in 2011. Guests on the WZBC version have included:

Raw 1 is a snapshot of improvised single take recordings done by Deftly, over four sessions, recorded between December 6th and 18th 2022. A single patch was used to create a range from heavy nods to golden age hip hop, EBM, rhythmic noise and cinematic atmospheres that each create their own experience.

Although this is a complete album as is, Deftly has planned to use this release as the skeleton for a future release, with the help of numerous collaborators, to be mutated significantly. Watch for a follow up later in 2023.
