Good evening. First, I want to say thank you to all of our first responders and the men and women of the light and power departments! You are all true superheroes to us—no superpowers needed.

Second, I want to thank everyone for the messages! My family and I are safe and sound. We were without power like most, and now we're without water for who knows how long, but we're okay, and that’s what matters.

Robin will be filling in for me, as I still need to ensure my home and family are taken care of first. Once everything is settled at home and a good path to Cocke County is reestablished, I will begin the process of getting back to a "close to normal" plan. Right now, what used to be a 17-minute drive has turned into nearly an hour one way until the main roads are reopened.

The question "What can I do to help?" has been ask more times than I can remember, here's what I say, whatever you can do to help, just do it. Water, clothes, resources, pray, just whatever you can do helps. Just get it to those that are in need and there are plenty in need.
