I just talked about the color theory behind yellow in a logo and thought it would be the perfect time to talk about a recent branding I had the amazing opportunity to work on.⭐☀

This client reached out to me to help with their branding for a new business they were starting making hand made dandelion products. Of course, selling dandelion products, it makes since to have the colors yellow and green, however even had this been a different product, I couldn't have chosen a better colors to reflect the this beautiful family and their business.

" Everything's Dande " was created by Lisa & Roy Campbell to help raise money for their son, Tristan, who is battling Lyme Disease. It's not just a cute play on words from the product, but its a reminder that there's hope- that 'everything's dande' and it will be OK.
After years of suffering from an unknown illness, Tristan finally received answers after being diagnosed with Lyme Disease, a tick-borne illness caused by the bacterium Borrelia burgdorferi. Lyme disease can cause neurological issues, cardiac problems, chronic Lyme Arthritis, chronic fatigue, mood changes and so much more. Him and his wife had to uproot their lives and re-locate to Colorado to receive treatment from a specialist. All the proceeds from Everything's Dande is going towards helping them relocate and pay for treatments.

I've known this family since I was a child and they had a huge impact on my life and helped shape me to the woman I am today. So when creating Everything's Dande's logo, the yellow and green represented more than the product's ingrediencies, it represents the energy and positivity this family carries, even through hard times, as well the renewal and growth happening behind every purchase. 💛💚

It's been a minute since I've done a logo color theory post and we still have a few colors left so today we are talking about the power of 🌟YELLOW☀️ in branding!

The Priest River Chamber of Commerce holds an amazing event every year called "Timber Days" which celebrates the community and the rich history of logging in the area. This amazing event had only a few pictures from previous years to use with promotion for the event, so this year I made sure they are well stocked with photos and video going into next year.

Make sure to put it in your calendars for next year and come out to Priest River for Timber Days, held the last Saturday in July. Stay tuned for more pictures coming from Oktoberfest and other organizations!

I had an incredible opportunity to be the photographer for the Priest Community Forest Connections annual Forest Expo!

🌲🌲Since 2007, the Forest Expo has brought 6th grade students out to explore forests, wildlife, weather, and stream quality through various stations taught by volunteers within the industry. These volunteers are the best of the best and come from all parts of healthy forestry including groups like the Forest Service, tree planters, biologists, conservation groups, loggers and many more incredible people.
I had an absolute blast and was able to learn along with the kids about so much interesting information!
