On a referral from Rudy Silk at the Vanderbilt Hotel came a client and now friend, Mark Goldfarb. Mark’s sailboat was severely damaged during a haul-out and was looking for a quick replacement. We settled in on a 1994 Hunter Legend 37.5 in Oyster Bay, NY. This was the first smaller sailing vessel I’ve Brokered since starting my career with a sale of a 31’ Cape Dory in Key West, FL. There is something special about the High Peaks Region of upstate, NY. I was blessed to have lived there for three years in my early 20's and it transformed me in ways I'm just beginning to understand. I spent most of my time durning those Summers hiking the forty-six mountains that make up the Adirondack Mountain Club's sought after High Peaks. Travelers come from all over the globe to hike them. Make the pilgrimage and you'll know why! It's a place I run to walk, climb to rest, and leave with inspiration.
