Wishing fair winds and following seas to the legendary Mudd Sharrigan.

Mardouni "Mudd" Sharrigan passed away last month at the age of 97. Many New England sailors own one of his excellent knives.

Mudd was a veteran of the Merchant Marine and the Army, a New England Hot Rod Hall of Fame inductee, a sailor, a home and boat builder, a woodworker, a hockey player, a swimmer, and a knifemaker.

Parker River Knife is based in Newbury, MA right along the Parker River. Started in 2013, we focus on knives for life on and near the water. Our designs are traditional in appearance but utilize modern materials for high performance.

Most of our assembly and finishing occurs in our Newbury workshop. All components are made here in the USA.

We utilize a premium steel called LC200N that is extremely corrosion resistant. Making our knives pretty much rustproof, even with prolonged exposure to salt water. Our Boat Knife is designed to be the perfect all-around knife for any boater. The Deck Knife is our take on a traditional rigging knife, featuring a 3” blade. We also have a version with a 4” blade.

2020 was not the year any of us wanted. We spent our time focused on developing our Offshore line.
