Lynn Sound Systems was started in 1992 as a hobby by Bill Lynn and his wife, Carol Lynn. Bill decided to rekindle his love of playing bass guitar and started playing in a small band again. This was the beginning of the present studio. The DJ section of the company came into existence in 1994 when their son, Mike Lynn "DJ Xtreeme", at the age of 17, was encouraged by his parents to start DJ'ing as a business, rather than just for fun. The original idea struck when Bill, a member of Mike's elementary school P.T.A., volunteered to DJ the school dances using his home stereo gear. The idea was further influenced when Mike was asked to DJ family events. Mike loved it and the rest is history. The business grew to where it is today. As the years passed by, Mike, has taken over the family business, which has now risen to being one of the best in the Hudson Valley.
