SHLA Loteria — October 4, 2024

The Society of Hispanic and Latine Appreciation hosted a Loteria event where students were able to enjoy free food while they played Loteria, a game similar to bingo, in order to win some prizes which included plushies and Maria cookies.

We are thrilled to announce that The Vector is holding a writing contest! There will be four categories (feature, opinion, entertainment, and creative writing), and one winner will be selected from each category and awarded a $150 prize!

Submissions must be between 500-700 words and must be emailed to tinyurl.com/vectorwritingcomp by November 4, 2024 at 8 AM EST.

Submissions will be graded on grammar, structure, and quality of content.

We are thrilled to announce that The Vector is holding a writing contest! There will be four categories (feature, opinion, entertainment, and creative writing), and one winner will be selected from each category and awarded a $150 prize!

Submissions must be between 500-700 words and must be emailed to [email protected] with the subject line "The Vector Writing Contest" by November 4, 2024 at 8 AM EST.

Fall 2024 Student Involvement Fair — September 4, 2024

Students filled the Upper and Lower Green on the first Wednesday of the semester to learn about the various clubs, organizations, and fraternities/sororities NJIT has to offer. Good weather, free food, and free stuff (including bucket hats) were some of the highlights of the fair, where new and returning students had a chance to approach all the tables, ask questions, and sign interest forms for the clubs.
