My best friend and I had been inseparable since childhood. We met at an orphanage and stuck together like sisters ever since.

MY DIL KICKED ME OUT OF MY OWN HOUSE AND THREW OUT MY THINGS – KARMA CAUGHT UP WITH HER THAT SAME DAY

I was absolutely furious. I pulled up to the house I've lived in my ENTIRE life and saw all my things just sitting outside, while my daughter-in-law was casually sipping coffee in the yard with a smug smile on her face!

Turns out, a few hours before, she found out that my dad, who owned the house (he recently passed away in a nursing home), had supposedly left the house to HER in his will! I OVERHEARD MY STEPSON TALKING ABOUT ME TO HIS FRIENDS AND I STILL CAN'T PROCESS IT.

I've been with my wife for four years now. Her 12-year-old son never hated me, but I can tell he misses his dad a lot. Today, he asked me to take him and his friends to an amusement park. Honestly, it already made my day.

At the park, the kids wanted to hit up one of those more intense rides, so I gently suggested some other fun stuff for their age. But later, as I was bringing them sweet drinks, I overheard them laughing.
