I'm sure some of our followers are writers as well as readers, so here is a for you...

NASA has finally made contact with an alien race. During trade negotiations, the NASA representatives asked about all the UFO sightings, abductions, crop circles, cattle mutilations, and all that.

The truth was stranger, and more relatable than any of the theories. The alien representatives had explained that all of these events were carried by teenage aliens who stole the family spaceship and went on a drunken joyride, pulling pranks, and abducting people for fun, only to later release them. Write a story based on this scenario!

This Saturday we are doing a children’s story hour, we have a new kiddie corner to enjoy!! We have new and used children’s books for sale. We also have some toys, board games, cards and puzzles for all ages to enjoy!

Hello! Today is the session 0 of our very own DND special. Feel free to bring your own character, we also have a character building book in the store, and mobile apps are also welcome. We will be doing food around 7-7:30 any and all contributions would be greatly appreciated. Today we expect bonding and planning with others and the established DM. (you will need to bring your own dice)

A little bit of the history behind my book Wails in the Night:

A great famine struck Ireland, from 1845 to 1852. Many families saw their once-prosperous circumstances blow away like dust. Among them was the McSweeney family, my ancestors. Many of these families never regained what they had lost. So around the early 1900s, my great-grandfather Dennis McSweeney scraped up enough for the voyage to America to start a new life. He met my great-grandmother, Ellen Waters, on the boat carrying them here, and they married in America. They had many children, the youngest was a girl named Agatha, who died as a toddler, from meningitis.

My great-aunt Agatha lent her name to the main character in Wails in the Night, and I have done my best to give her the adventurous life she never got to live. Check out Wails in The Night, book one of The Banshee series, available on Barnes & Noble, and Smashwords.

The show won’t go on.

Ten years ago, a fire broke out in the Gaston LeRoux Theater and killed a family of performers: Stephen and Katherine Daye, and their twelve-year-old daughter Erika. The LeRoux has stood desolate all these years, occupied only by the ghosts of those who died there. Until now.

Senator Whitmore Sommerset remembers the grandeur of the LeRoux, and purchases it, intending to renovate it back to what it once was, ignoring the stories and warnings about the LeRoux curse which claims the lives of all who perform on its stage.

Actors Christian Bedford and Janae York are chosen for the lead roles in the production of MacBeth, the same play that was cut short by the fire ten years earlier. Sommerset and the cast are determined to finish the play, though it is plagued by problems; broken lighting fixtures, missing props and equipment, costumes cut up and burned in the middle of the night. Someone or something doesn’t want the production to be a success.

Events reach their boiling point when Christian Bedford is kidnapped by a mysterious masked figure, and taken into a network of prohibition era tunnels under the LeRoux Theater. His captor turns out to be Erika Daye, disfigured by burn scars, but not dead, like everyone thought. As this subterranean play unfolds, all of the players will be changed, and their lives turned in a direction they never thought possible.
