France, Kareem Benzema,the current world best player and Senegal ,Sadio Mane the second world best player are out of the Mundial due to injuries. Benzena had a thigh injury while Mane had a surgery on a leg tendon. Best wishes for the duo.

Tobi Amusan Smashed 100m Hurdles Word Record::

'I believe in my abilities but I wasn't expecting a world
record at the championships, I wanted to get out and go.I did what I had to do.Looking forward to the finals".Words of Tobi Amusan ,the Nigeria golden girl moment after she set a new world record with a stunning time of 12.12 seconds in the semi final on Sunday at the World Athletics Championship in Oregon,USA.The 25- year-old had run a new African record of 12.40 seconds earlier in her heat,the fastest first-round time in World championships history.
The Nigeria sprint sensation proved sceptic wrong in the final of the competition when she ran a time of 12.06 seconds to claim the gold thereby making a bold statement that her earlier world record set in the semi final was no mere fluke.Though her time was initially announced as a World record but was later ruled ineligible as the speed exceeded the legal limit.Jamaica's Britany Anderson took the silver with a time of 12.23 while Puerto Rico's and last summer Olympics Champion Jasmine Camacho-Quinn,claimed the bronze with a time of 12.23 ,Tobi Amusan made history by becoming Nigeria's first world champion.
The previous world record of 12.20 seconds was set in 2016 by American's Kendra Harrison.
For setting a world record,Tobi earned herself $100.000 and an additional $70,000 for her gold.
The 2022 World athletics championships took place in Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon, United States from July 15-24.
