Registration is still underway for the 2024-25 school year. If you have not done so already, please register online through the KPS website at: https://www.kentwoodps.org/ourdistrict/enrollment/olr/ All students, both returning and new, need to register for the upcoming school year. The district is also taking applications for those Kent County students who live outside of Kentwood but are interested in attending KPS through the Schools of Choice program. That application can be accessed here: https://www.kentwoodps.org/ourdistrict/enrollment/school-of-choice/ For questions or more information, please contact your child’s school or our district office at 616.455.4400. Kentwood Public Schools is proud to share that our district recently received a number of honors from the National School Public Relations Association's (NSPRA) Publications and Digital Media Excellence Awards for 2023. NSPRA is a leading organization in the area of school communication in the nation. Recently KPS received 8 awards from NSPRA, including 3 Awards of Excellence, the highest honor, in the area of videos produced with an outside contractor. We thank and congratulate our partners at AVES Films for their collaboration with us and work on these three award-winning videos. Only 21 entries in this category nationwide received this highest honor, and KPS is appreciative to have received 3 of those 21 awards. KPS also received an Award of Merit in the area of excellence in writing, as well as 4 Awards of Honorable Mention for writing, videos produced in house, and for our Kentwood School News newsletter.
