Hi All. An exciting personal update.
A friend of mine/fraternity brother/college basketball teammate, JD Leete contacted me about a joint media venture. I build ROKU TV channels. He is retired Navy and has become a documentary film maker. His feature length show "Target of Opportunity" is on Amazon Prime and Tubi. During a conversation while talking about building his ROKU channel we decided to begin another program.
The Debrief. Our Warriors Video Diary.
It is a series where I interview military veterans.
It is the firsthand accounts of their lives before, during and after their military service. The main goal is to share their personal experiences and in doing so further build the veteran community and communicate important sources of assistance and access to veteran services.
The first series is with veterans from the Winter Haven American Legion, Post 8 near where Jan Corrin lives in Florida. We got to know them when they did the Honor Guard ceremony for her stepfather (Marine) when he passed away last year. I used to help Jan run The Grill at Meadowcreek until the City of Charlottesville shut down restaurant services at the golf course last fall.
