The band will be visiting Virginia and Pennsylvania next week before they meet up with in the Pacific Northwest later this month.

In July, Lee travels to Europe before returning to the US for more shows with Charley and other appearances 🎶

OUT JULY 12 • Caracoles ushers Orquesta Akokán's unique brand of mambo into the 21st century. Back at the helm are producer and multi instrumentalist, Jacob Plasse and virtuosic pianist, composer and arranger Michael Eckroth - a collaboration that continues to lead Orquesta’s exploration of the sublime mambo in all its depth and breadth.

On their 3rd album, they combine talents with Cuban singer and composer Kiko Ruiz, a tata —priest— who informs his lyrics with a Palo Mayombe spirituality propelling the mambo back to its original meaning.

An unreleased gem from Jalen Ngonda's Come Around and Love Me sessions, "Here to Stay" is a gorgeously breezy ballad that will most definitely appeal to fans of the sweet soul output from our Penrose Records imprint.

On the flip, a standout track from the aforementioned long player, "If You Don't Want My Love" delivers a one-two punch of class and style that harkens back to the sounds coming out of Motown in the late sixties and early seventies.
