Voting is a business decision for me that isn’t emotional. My humanity is on the line with the policies presented by Trump. I don’t believe in blind loyalty, so I can both support Vice President Harris and challenge her administration when she is elected. I believe that we are in a moment where the world seeks to divide Black people. Too many join in that because social media gives you a platform to do it. I’ve decided my life to advancing Black people, poor people, and marginalized people so I’m not willing to play with my people or gamble my vote. If you in my comments saying you won’t vote, that’s like spitting in my face. I do this work everyday to advance communities and so much could change if we did one simple thing and show up for the RIGHT people. If we voted down ballot so that not just democrats but progressives minded democrats could get elected. The median age of America is 38.5. I happen to be 38 for a few more week. It’s time we start acting like the adults in the room and do what must be done. I’ve never met the Vice President, I don’t get invited to the cookouts. I know people who know her though and they speak of the human, not the elected official. What I ask you to remember is we have people who can talk to these people in ways we don’t on the other side. That matters. We have the opportunity to make history and push for good work to be done to progress this nation. That is the work. #AlwaysRising And if you’re not registered to vote and can’t name your city council member stay out my comments. If you’re a single issue voter, stay out my comments. I’m Black I can’t be a single issue voter. I’ll argue with y’all after we save this nation. I love you and us too much to play with this election. 🦾

Grammy Nominated DJ, Producer, Label Owner

Grammy Nominated Producer/DJ Muzikman Edition (MME) hails from East New York, Brooklyn and started experimenting with turntablism in 1986. His love of the art led to the introduction of DJ 3D to the NYC music scene bringing a unique style combining house, hip-hop, rare groove and R&B classics. DJ 3D earned a resident DJ post on WBAI’s Underground Railroad, where he’s been cutting and scratching for over a decade. Through DJ 3D’s love of house music and collaboration with Kenny Dope, Muzikman Edition was born.

Through his mixes, MME morphs classic arrangements into modern day house hits bridging the gap between generations. MME spends countless hours discovering new artists, producing releases for his label Exemplary Music Makerz (EMM), and creating podcasts to share with his fans, but the best reward is spinning at parties and seeing people celebrating their love of music.
