Construire un business, c’est avant tout choisir la bonne clientèle. Travaillez avec ceux qui reconnaissent la valeur de ce que vous offrez et bâtissez votre réputation sur la qualité et la constance. A photographer is like a warrior.

Photographers are constantly battling against time, lighting, and weather, capturing fleeting moments before they disappear. They carry heavy gear, face challenging conditions, and push their creativity and endurance to the limit. Whether it's the resilience to get that perfect shot or the courage to capture sensitive subjects, photographers have a fighter's spirit, ready to face any situation for the art they cherish.

Vèsyon kreyòl.

Yon fotograf se yon vanyan sòlda.

Fotograf toujou ap konbat kont tan, limyè, ak move tan, ap chache kenbe moman k ap pase rapidman anvan yo disparèt.
Yo pote ekipman lou, fè fas ak kondisyon difisil, epi yo depase limit kreyativite ak andirans yo. Kit se pèseverans pou jwenn foto pafè a, kit se kouraj pou kaptire sijè sansib, fotograf yo gen lespri yon konbatan, pare pou yo fè fas ak nenpòt sitiyasyon pou fè sa yo renmen an.

Put life on POSE.

For three years, I’ve been photographing the TCS New York City Marathon, a task that started out with the intent to simply capture the day’s events. Yet, each year, I’ve found myself more drawn to the raw emotion, the diverse stories, and the resilience of the runners as they push themselves through this 26.2-mile journey. This year was no different. In fact, it was even more profound.

I arrived with my camera ready for a long day.  You know what the Marathon is all about. But never know what to expect.

This year, one of my favorite moment is photographing Louie, a marathon veteran on his 56th race. I spotted him at the corner of Flatbush and 4th Ave in Brooklyn. Louie’s expression was not just that of a runner but of someone who truly knows the marathon—the highs, the lows, the quiet struggles. He wasn’t just running; he was living a story with each step.

As a photographer, there’s a kind of magic that happens when you connect to your subject in a way that transcends just taking a shot. Watching Louie, I saw a man whose commitment speaks volumes. Fifty-six marathons don’t just happen overnight. There’s discipline, resilience, and a love for the journey. Each image I captured felt like a testament to the quiet strength and endurance that Louie and countless others bring to this event year after year.

Being behind the camera for these past three years, I’ve gradually become part of the marathon community, not just as an observer but as a fan. Each runner’s story—from first-timers nervously taking on the challenge to seasoned veterans like Louie—brings a new perspective. It’s more than just the finish line; it’s the journey to get there, the setbacks overcome, and the personal victories that make the marathon truly inspiring.

Louie’s story stands out, but he is just one of many whose journeys inspire everyone who comes to the sidelines. Each year I find new reasons to appreciate the grit and heart that defines the TCS NYC Marathon. As a photographer, it’s a privilege to capture these moments. As a fan, it’s an honor to witness them.
