When we encounter obstacles, our initial reaction might be to feel frustrated, discouraged, or even defeated. However, by taking a step back and examining the situation from a different perspective, we may be able to identify opportunities that we had not previously considered.

Difficulties can present us with opportunities to brainstorm creative solutions or to develop new skills. They can also provide us with important lessons that we can use to grow and improve. By embracing challenges and staying focused on the potential opportunities that they present, we can turn setbacks into stepping stones towards success.

Here’s the thing…our thoughts are powerful and they shape our world.

So, instead of focusing on negative thoughts and expecting the worst outcomes, fill your mind with God’s promises; the positives—the best possible outcomes.

Philippians 4:8 (AMP) says it like this: Finally, believers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable and worthy of respect, whatever is right and confirmed by God’s word, whatever is pure and wholesome, whatever is lovely and brings peace, whatever is admirable and of good repute; if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think continually on these things [center your mind on them, and implant them in your heart].”

Focus on completing one paragraph, then one chapter. Every small action counts and contributes to your overall success. Start by doing the small things well, and over time, you’ll be at that finish line.
