Established June 4, 2003, GHETTOHEAT® specializes in creating hardcore street literature and gripping urban fiction, incorporating hip-hop, pop and street-culture in its extraordinary productions, in addition to crafting great quality works of other genres. The mission at GHETTOHEAT® is to educate, empower, enliven and elevate everyone through entertainment. Strongly fighting against illiteracy wi

thin inner cities, while encouraging people to read worldwide, GHETTOHEAT® has a magnificent magazine, an array of page-turning books (both in print and digital), and other wonderful multimedia products that will ultimately move you. GHETTOHEAT® discusses social issues, reaching and influencing many by creating awareness in its works, purposely using GHETTOHEAT® as an educational forum. Also providing a creative outlet for inner-city youth to express themselves through writing, GHETTOHEAT® encourages young adults to pursue education and careers in Journalism and Literary Arts. THE GHETTOHEAT® MOVEMENT College Scholarship Fund is geared towards youth pursuing education and careers in this arena—part of the proceeds from sales of GHETTOHEAT® products goes toward helping young adults with financial assistance towards their education. THE GHETTOHEAT® MOVEMENT is also everyday people who have joined forces with GHETTOHEAT® across the world, helping to promote literacy, especially within inner cities: spreading the word on the importance of reading. GHETTOHEAT® proudly embraces diversity, it doesn’t matter what race, s*x, color, creed, income status or s*xual orientation one has, the mission is to find a solution for the serious, ongoing problem of illiteracy worldwide.
