We had a tech day on thursday this week at Zampol Productions:
Main objectives included adding the brand new Terry Audio CEQ-6 Mastering EQ into the system and introducing the SPL Hermes Router for new an improved routing of our analog gear. Beyond that, we made further improvements into our routing, by replacing a few connections with some new custom wiring.
We also moved the Manley MU Limiter/Compressor into our side rack and recalibrated it. We managed to pull everything off in less than 3 hours’ time. This reel shows a timelapse of the 3 hours of work plus some extra B-roll for the gear lovers out there.

Cuantas veces dijimos “ahora si” pero el momento no llegaba. Los años pasaron cada vez mas rápido y con ellos se fue haciendo dificil lo que antes era fácil.
Hoy, después de tantos intentos y de tanto esfuerzo, me llena de alegría ver que esta canción por fin está afuera.

Over a dozen artists from StorySound Records got together to record Paul Williams’ “Dangerous Business” from the Elaine May film Ishtar. Rachelle Garniez and Chaim Tannenbaum take the lead, and are supported by a chorus that includes Loudon Wainwright III, Suzzy Roche, Lucy Wainwright Roche, and Ana Egge. The project was conceived by label founder Dick Connette as a tribute to the brilliant and uncompromising Elaine May, whose career is founded upon the dangerous business of telling the truth.
