A history of love, peace, and harmony sings through his college days to current day unscripted scripted by the likes of live jams bands auch as and whose live shows, random run-ins, and quite possibly a “no show” to his graduation helped shape this compassionate and endearing father, husband, mentor and friend.

His wife heads a major hospital, he leads a community to preserve and promote the arts. Like the great masters of classical music. He sits and plays a curated piece of music history proudly displayed in a room of incredible poster artwork for a community under lockdown. Todd will take his master piece show and revise it, reshape it, and display it in a new way when the time is right.

I’ve never had a close spirit that freely shared light with no expectations except to live to your fullest potential and strengths. What I have learned these last three weeks is life changing. Thank you, B.

My sacred space of peace, reflection, thanks, what if, what now, what next, and a continuum of manic ups and downs that have gone from earthquakes to tremors. This is my sacred space where the creatures on Taylor Street come to heal. To learn to trust, love, and believe again. So here’s to new beginnings when I choose, and I am ready - and to my next sunrise after this beautiful bow of the sunset capping the day off in its brilliance.

A soft chandelier glows against the setting sun oranging up this Southern Georgia sky. In front, a living stage once written about in the musical “Lil’ Abner.” It’s a peaceful place with a vortex made of positive intent for the shining city on a hill to continue healing and growing back a true community with a sensational bouquet of culture. Welcome to my Peace Community Garden.

Co-Director’s Blog: Case # F9-OC1K3M. Tonight brought to by the number 911 and the letter J for jazzy. This porch is sacred to me. Many a spiritual has taken place here in the short visits I have had previous to our new norm. As we continue about our day a little more numb, a little more “I am ready now,” a little more...appreciative to pause. To shut down some of the noise even if sick. A moment to see the world in slow motion and perhaps see an area of improvement in your life with less blame, less resentment, less negativity, now you can choose to. Make that fix and when you finally find your purpose do NOT let ego, wing cutters, or the doubters write that script for you. Another sunset in my sacred space.

A fine moment reflective of a slow motion moment in a good feel 80’s kind of movie. Like the Jonathan Hughes classic “16 Candles” where Molly Ringwald leans over towards Jake Ryan to blow out her candles and to have her first kiss. Innocent, pure, light, love, and harmonious humility. A beautiful specimen of humanity.

The passing breeze and the late view of a Georgia setting sun symbolically speaks so much today as I sit alone in reflection of my life. A decade beginning to capsulate into a digestible pill of unanswered questions keeps me from running even though the other racers in the gate are leaps ahead, but I have learned that the bigger lesson isn’t how fast your run, how many trophies you gather, or that you remain the champion. When I pause, breath, feel, and eventually trust that the pill will pass, and it does, I will, once again, stand up from this sensational and spiritual porch a little better until I am ready to welcome new light into my movie. Until then, I remain a W.I.P.

They have lived a life together that spans over four decades and colored in with brightest of lights, a love that humbled a war torn country under the rule of a former corrupt impeached elephant. A blend of simplicity and a boundless-limitless splash of citrus soak up the warm Americus sunset. The amazing things I have seen during a walk for exercise. The stories of Americus are the ones we wrote about when we were kids putting stories of the past into a time capsule that an unknown generation would open and wonder over. The past is alive and it has many areas of improvement needed to make Americus the next “Woodstock 1969,” and they are small fixes. Thank you kind ladies. You are a time capsule of love, light, and energy of a generation that has forgotten that peace is possible. Well here is to the new peace that paused a planet.

Another sunset and another day pushing my limitations in order to reboot my spirit, my trust, and my belief in peace and who carries that message fourthward. This is no longer a time to self loath or feel badly about the place I find myself positioned. I have seen peace making this film and I continue to see improvements made.

A necessary time for reflection. A necessary pause. Finding hurt still outweighs will, yet still mustering the energy and focus to put on these running sneakers to prove hurt wrong. When hurt fuels the will, eventually the will overtakes the hurt. Here is to another sunrise, another choice to continue this journey, another day to improve tomorrow. Find the motivation and the excuse to why the life you planned didn’t go according to plan.

There is a moment in one’s life when fantasy becomes a momentary lapse of reality. This was that moment when the universe froze and revealed a single frame in a moment where my body was in motion. A tree reigns over the world readying to spring into action. A sign to the left reads right lane ends. With the world as backwards as it is right now, everything in this photo makes sense.
