Element ICF ROOKIE 1st try! This is definitely a bit more advanced level of DIY. I would give it a 7/10 DIY rating. It’s definitely possible, you just need to know all the steps and have a bit of carpentry background!

Another week another raising! Or as the crew liked to point out, technically 2 raisings (each an independent structure!). This one right down the road will serve as an ADU to complement a large project of ours from last summer. The footprint of the house is 25'x25' and the carport 13'4"x20'. We're loving the lines and feel of this one and can't wait to see it get finished off!

We finally received all of the door hardware and were able to revisit our recent barn project in Harrison to put on the finishing touches! While there is still some electrical work and painting and staining to do our scope is essentially complete on this one. We have to say, we’re pretty stoked on how it turned out! The client is already having fun with it and moving in! Just as it should be!

Three sets of heavy timbered stairs installed yesterday at a recent project. Basement to first floor. First to second. And second to third floor loft! Two of the sets feature full through tenons. All of the treads are fully housed into the stringers. These timber stairs are a ideal way to complement the rugged beauty of the timber frame interior.....................................
