We’re excited to welcome to Downtown Music Publishing this year. Renowned for her eclectic folk music, Giddens is a 2x GRAMMY-winning and Pulitzer Prize-winning singer and instrumentalist.

From collaborating on various book projects to starring in a captivating JP Morgan Chase commercial, her artistic versatility knows no bounds. And let’s not forget the recent release of her mesmerizing rendition of Tom Petty’s “Don’t Come Around Here No More.” You can also catch her exceptional banjo and viola skills on Beyonce’s “Texas Hold ‘Em.”

We’re thrilled to welcome American funk and jazz multi-instrumentalist Karl Denson () to Downtown Music Publishing! 🎷

Denson, who plays with the Rolling Stones and co-founded The Greyboy Allstars (where you may know him as “Diesel”), also leads his own band, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe (KDTU). KDTU has performed at major festivals like Fuji Rock and Bonnaroo, collaborated with stars such as the Dave Matthews Band, James Brown, and Lenny Kravitz, and toured with the Allman Brothers, My Morning Jacket, D’Angelo, The Roots, Public Enemy, Bob Weir, Parliament Funkadelic, Slightly Stoopid, and Widespread Panic. Very few concertgoers have been untouched by the Tiny Universe live!
