Sad news. Condolences to friends and family who knew him. One of the few sane voices in his generation of, "western," media.
In the last couple decades, he has consistently critiqued the military industrial complex, brought focus to the 2nd Intifada in Palestine, the railroading of Julian Assange & the free media/left hacker scene, and many other conflicts.
There are tons of other voices now, who are younger, and less yt, but he was an important example and bridge to euro culture.
For 60+ years, 🥂 to speaking truth to power.

I used to have friends in OCCUPY, now since I run for office in a party that does not take money from corporations or have millionaire sponsors, the time in which I could use some help the most, I am often left wondering where did these ideals go? What happened to the faithful?
