Just confirm that in addition to the inquiries submitted by residents to City officials regarding the fire hydrant at 3001 Webster Ave by E 201st Street, we’ve contacted the FDNY also and await their feedback. We’ll keep you posted.
FDNY officials said there were no reported injuries following a residential fire on Friday, Jan. 31, at 2587 Bainbridge Avenue between East 193 Street & Coles Ln in Fordham Manor, The Bronx.
They said they received a call at 11.56 a.m. for a report of fire/smoke in a 3-story, multiple dwelling and that the fire was in basement. They said 12 units, comprising 60 fire personnel
responded to the scene, the fire was brought under control at 12.53 p.m. and there were no injuries. One female resident said a pet apparently died or was injured.
After the fire, the American Red Cross said they registered one family (2 adults and 4 children) for emergency assistance, including financial assistance and temporary lodging.
