Alvaro Domecq, considered the greatest Spanish horseman of his generation, stated that CABRIOLA, my photo of the flying horse, is one of the great horse pictures ever taken.
Of course, the horse and rider did the difficult work. But it was my decision to lie on the ground well below where the horse was to jump that makes the photo so memorable. The horse and rider are literally âflying â.
