Film Production Company www.simmiaproductions.com Paola Romagnani and Emiliano Baccarini started Simmia Productions Inc. in 2004.

The first project was Soul Mate, a short film written, directed, edited by and starring Paola Romagnani. The Company has also produced two feature films, The Contenders by Marta Mondelli and My Mother's Fairy Tales, written, directed and co-produced by Paola Romagnani. The films have been in competition in major international film festivals including Torino in Italy and The Hamptons in New York an

d have screened in several venues in the US and Europe throughout the years. Simmia Productions is in development with a new feature film project based on a true story, co-written by Paola Romagnani and slated to start production in New York City in early 2013. The company is also in development with a feature comedy based on a novel by Paola Romagnani, "Alba a Williamsburg" due to be published in Italy in 2013.
