Since I picked up a mic, honestly, I have never put it down. From the humble beginnings of doing bedroom recordings to doing shows all over New York City and the country to getting married, having a child, playing wife and mother, holding down a career, I've never dropped the mic. In fact, I love the mic!!! Even when I was treated unfairly, labeled wrongly, I've never dropped the mic. Now, it's been a minute and I'm still holding "mic" like we are inseparable twins getting ready to release the best album of my entire career, PERIOD! I can hear say "You should write a song about that" in my head. Ugh, what do you guys think? Write a song and call it "MIC" ?!!!

Wow, the 8th anniversary of the Shofar album is almost here ‼️This was my introduction into the world of music and will forever be a classic. So many have been touched by this project, so many doors have opened, so many lessons learned. Many have pulled me aside and asked "what's it like working with a mainstream producer?."
At first, I was a bit taken aback, but realized this doesn't happen as often as we think. How often do Indy artists, signed to an Indy label, with no major names co-signing or major financial push, get the opportunity to work with a producer who is working with the best in the game?
Allow me to break it down in my new four part series starting tomorrow. There are so many mis-conceptions I want to address and funny things none of us were really aware of before the collab.
Then there's the legal side, you know that part nobody talks about!
