2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp bourbon
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp smoked paprika

In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add sliced onions and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
Stir in the bourbon, brown sugar, and smoked paprika. Cook for an additional 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the onions are caramelized and sticky. Set aside.
