Christopher Carey is a visionary entrepreneur with a passion for elevating both the vertical transportation industry and the world of live events and production. With a diverse background and a keen eye for identifying unmet needs, he has successfully established two companies, Vertical Environmental Solutions (VES) and Festival Works, each becoming leaders in their respective fields. Christopher'

s journey in the vertical transportation industry began in 1999 when he started as a helper in the Bronx. Recognizing a significant need for cleaning services within the industry, he saw an opportunity to make a difference. However, he briefly ventured into a different career path in live production and entertainment from 2002 to around 2012, where he worked with prominent companies like Viacom (MTV, VH1), Sony Pictures Television, and various other production firms across the country. However, Christopher's passion for elevators and escalators never waned. In 2008, he decided to take a step back into the vertical transportation world and established a small elevator cleaning service in NYC, all while continuing to work in the production industry. His commitment to excellence led him to study and obtain certifications in various environmental work areas, including waterproofing, painting, coatings, and masonry repair. In 2009, he took the leap and founded his company, offering a comprehensive range of services under the name Casper Enterprises and Casper Elevator Cleaning. Through unwavering dedication and commitment to quality, Christopher propelled Vertical Environmental Solutions to the forefront of the industry. In 2018, the company was rebranded as Vertical Environmental Solutions and signed with IUEC Local 1, cementing its position as a leader in environmental work. Today, VES stands as the number one elevator and escalator cleaning service in the country, with the ambitious goal of becoming the nation's largest independently owned Elevator & Escalator Cleaning & Environmental Service. In the face of adversity brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic and the restrictions it placed on live events, Christopher once again showcased his adaptability and creativity. In 2021, he founded Festival Works, a live event, event marketing, and production service company. Despite the challenging circumstances, Festival Works quickly gained recognition in Orange County, NY, and North Jersey as a premier event and festival production company, serving municipalities and organizing large-scale events. Festival Works gained widespread acclaim with the 1st annual Oktoberfest in Greenwood Lake, NY, in 2021, drawing over 15,000 attendees. Building on this success, the company continued to expand its portfolio, taking on the management of West Milford, NJ's Autumn Lights Festival, which now attracts over 30,000 attendees and continues to grow. He aims to further propel Vertical Environmental Solutions to unprecedented heights, positioning it as the nation's leading Elevator & Escalator Cleaning & Environmental Service. Simultaneously, he envisions Festival Works evolving into one of the North East's Largest Event Production Companies, with aspirations of branching out to new territories over time. With his determination, expertise, and passion for excellence, Christopher Carey continues to leave an indelible mark on both the vertical transportation and live event industries. Through his companies, he elevates experiences for people, making spaces cleaner, and events more memorable.
