"MY TWIN SONS STOPPED TALKING AFTER MY MIL SPENT THE WEEKEND WITH US – ONE NIGHT, I FINALLY HEARD THEM SPEAK.

This was only the second time my MIL had visited us to see the kids since their birth 10 years ago. The first time was right after they were born. They got along perfectly fine until she took them aside for a private talk. After that, they went completely silent. We tried everything—therapists, doctors—but nothing worked.

Then, last night, I heard faint voices and went to check. I wasn't hallucinating—OMG, they were TALKING to each other! I was ready to rush in and hug them when I overheard:

"JOKE OF THE DAY: A guy suspects his wife is cheating on him, so he comes home early from work one day. His wife meets him at the door in a bathrobe, her hair a mess. ""Where is he?"" he demands. ""Where's the guy who's been sleeping with you?""

""I don't know what you're talking about, dear,"" she answers. So the guy tears the house apart, looking for him. Finally, he's on the second floor in the kitchen, and he looks out the window and sees a guy sitting in a Volkswagen.

""That's him,"" the guy thinks. ""That's the guy who's been sleeping with my wife!"" Furious, he picks up the refrigerator, throws it out the window, has a heart attack, and dies.

St. Peter meets him at the gates of Heaven. ""Why are you here?"" he asks, and the guy answers, ""I knew my wife was cheating on me, so I came home early. I saw her boyfriend sitting in his Volkswagen out on the street, threw the refrigerator at him, had a heart attack, and died."" St. Peter scowls and says, ""You don't belong here. Go to hell."" "The fifth anniversary of my marriage turned into a nightmare. I cooked a delicious dinner, waiting for my husband David to come home from work. But when he arrived, he just looked at me askew and said, ""What the hell are you even wearing? You look fat in this!""

Then he added, pulling an envelope from his pocket, ""I have something for you.""

Overjoyed, I took the envelope, expecting to see tickets to Paris. My husband knew how much I wanted to go there. I opened the envelope and almost fell off my feet—it said ""DIVORCE.""
