Stubborn God Productions (SGP) is the musical and audio production imprint of Nevekari Enterprises soundtrack “department” as well as representing the extended aural endeavors of Ira Aron Rosenblum's musical alter-ego, 391 & the Army of Astraea. This appellation includes both collaborative and solo musical endeavors, and in its earliest incarnation dates back to 1983. Since that time 391 & the Army of Astraea has created hundreds of demo recordings and hundreds of others that have appeared in film and audio releases.
As SGP has evolved, it has come to envelope several other aspects, including general audio production, as well as the forging of amiable relationships with a network of composers, studio personnel, and session musicians who work in either the acoustic or electronic arenas of soundtrack production.
Recent Activities
Stubborn God was largely responsible for the composition, creation and production of the soundtrack work featured on the Partisan Earth Promotional DVD and CD, both of which were completed in May of 2012 and re-mixed in December of 2015.
In the aftermath of the Partisan Earth project, two unreleased full-length albums, “Music Inspired by Primordial Insects and Extremeophiles” (2014), and “Fuaim: 391 & the Army of Astraea Soundtracks and Instrumentals” (2016) were recorded, and tracks from those albums have appeared in Nevekari Enterprise’s film projects, “Isolation Room” (2017) and “The Dark Wood” (“Soundtrack From The Motion Picture”), also in 2017, and in the promotional video “Nevekari Talks: The Supplicant” (2018). In late 2018 SGP also released a 391 & the Army of Astraea 24 track compilation of Industrial-Electronic “Online Give-Away” tracks entitled “Sweetmeats For Little Turks”.
In early 2019 a number of tracks were included in Nevekari Enterprises narrated “creepy pasta” horror short release “Scrimshaw - A Dark Tale of the Sea”, and the ongoing composition of songs continues for an intended 391 & the Army of Astraea Singer-Songwriter Folk-Rock album prospectively entitled “Full Body Halo”.
