SASI Book Group

SASI Book Group SASI (Sunday Afternoons on Staten Island) is a 16 year old book group. About 20 women are members from all over the island. We meet in member's homes.

We meet about once a month to discuss a book we have read. Book selections range from biography to fiction. This group of about 25 Staten ISland women meet to discuss the book designated at the one for discussion....mostly literary fiction, some occasional non-fiction. The members come from several meiborhoods, and the age range goes from fourties to seventies. In 2012 we have supported Staten Isl

and OUTLOUD's participation in the national program The Great Read. We developed a discussion gude for book groups, and we will sponsor one of the events in this prestigious program.
