Reveling the memories of an extraordinary event hosted at our iconic Ideal Glass Studios, where Farrow and Ball unveiled a painteresque symphony of color, shapes and handcrafted wallpapers. This inspiring space has been reimagined as a large scale playful props studio to present the new collection of colour and pattern capturing the heart of the Carte Blanche palette.
Created in collaboration with and 12 new colours inspired by childhood memories of food, partnered with DeVonn Francis, founder and chef of .

Colour experts crafted a place where people can connect, unleash their creativity and playfully experiment with paint, paper, color and design.

Citizen Watch- Essence of Time Exhibit: @citizenwatchus @citizens_watches To celebrate 100 years of watchmaking history, the famous Japanese manufacturer recently hosted an immersive exhibition in the heart of New York City at the Atrium and the Mansion. The exhibit featured 100 of the brand’s most defining timepieces on loan from its Tokyo museum. Amongst the pieces were some iconic ones such as the very first Citizen pocket watch from 1924 and its limited-edition modern equivalent launched earlier this year and many models from every corner of its impossibly vast archives. Also featured at the exhibit was the recently released book “Citizen: The Essence of Time,” which was written by Jack Forster and published by Assouline. All 100 of the watches featured in Citizen’s “Essence of Time” exhibition were accompanied by note cards that told the story of the specific model, and Citizen also created schematic sketches for each timepiece to further illustrate the key aspects of its design. As a way to provide attendees with a more comprehensive understanding of the various relationships between the different models and collections, Citizen created a phylogeny graphic for its watches, which consisted of 100 models (one for each year of its history) connected by different colored lines to depict the evolution of its most important technologies.

Our Story

Ideal Glass Studios is an artist-run film & TV production studio comprised of creative spaces in the East and West Village.

Founded in 2004 by native New Yorker, actor, and artist, Willard Morgan, the original space at 22 E 2nd St was transformed from a 1950’s glazier’s workshop into an independent gallery space and art collective.

The small team of creatives are dedicated to fostering a community of artists, fashion designers, writers, performers, musicians, and filmmakers. The mural walls, exhibitions, screenings and performances, transcend the norm and provide a space where alternative modes of thought and expression are encouraged and celebrated.

In 2017, Morgan added two new spaces to his Ideal Glass collection: the Ideal Pop-Up and The Mansion in the West Village, creating Ideal Glass Studios, where high-profile film, TV, music, fashion, and art vanguards gather regularly to collaborate. The original space’s DIY vibe lives on in its caring and eccentric team, encouraging creators to present their ideas clearly and express their vision freely.
