MY GRANDPARENTS CUT ME OUT OF THEIR INHERITANCE – I SMILED BECAUSE MY PLAN WORKED

Ever since I was little, I was my grandparents' favorite. My brother Tom, though? He's my mom's son from her first marriage, and while our grandparents were nice to him, he was never really part of the family in their eyes.

My grandparents paid for my private school, trips, and even got me a new car at sixteen. Tom went to public school and had to work part-time to save up for an old car.

DURING THE DIVORCE MY HUSBAND GAVE MY FUR BABY TO AN ANIMAL SHELTER, UNAWARE IT WOULD LEAVE HIM PENNILESS.

"PLEASE, GIVE ME BACK MY DOG! SHE'S MINE! SHE'S MY FAMILY!" I begged my husband, tears streaming down my face.

But he refused. And then he gave my fur baby to the shelter.

We were in the process of getting divorced and he was trying to manipulate me to get as much as possible. Now he was using my dog to bargain and to hurt my feelings! It was his revenge because I initiated the divorce due to his pathological greed.

I searched every shelter, every corner of the city, her photo gripped in my hand like a lifeline. Calls and visits led nowhere. The waiting, the hoping, the sleepless nights, but I refused to give up!

So, I was standing in line to pay for my stuff when I suddenly heard a familiar voice... George?? I stepped aside and saw him!

As I was about to approach George, I got a text from him:

"Babe, you know how much I love you. I'm stuck in traffic, tired. Will be late."

13 YEARS AGO WAS THE LAST TIME I SAW MY DAUGHTER — RECENTLY I GOT A LETTER FROM MY GRANDSON I NEVER KNEW ABOUT.

13 years ago, my wife left me for my boss. She took my daughter with her — the daughter I loved more than anything. You know how it goes: kids usually stay with their moms. Back then, my daughter was just 13. I tried to stay in her life, but my ex filled her head with lies about me, and eventually, she cut me off completely.

Life went downhill after that. I got really sick, went through countless surgeries, and found out my ex had moved to another state with her new husband and my daughter. The years passed — 13 of them. I never remarried, never even wanted to. My mind was always stuck in the past, holding onto memories of the life I'd lost.
