A year ago, I moved into this cute little rental owned by Mr. Peterson, this sweet old man — or so I thought. The house was okay, but the yard was a total nightmare. GREEDY HEIRS TRIED TO EARN FAVOR WITH GRANDPA TO INHERIT MORE — THEIR JAWS DROPPED WHEN THE LAWYER READ THE WILL.
Mr. Lewis was an elderly man who had spent his life doing good, raising a wonderful family, and adopting or fostering several kids. He had 8 kids in total — 4 biological and 4 adopted.
But his kids rarely visited him, unless it was to ask for money. They were living their best lives off of his bank account.
At 83, Mr. Lewis got the news from his doctors that he had less than a month to live. And guess what? The very same day, all his kids suddenly showed up at his mansion. From that moment on, they never left his side, trying to butter him up and secure a bigger piece of the inheritance.
Two months passed, and these same kids were sitting in the lawyer's office, rubbing their hands together in anticipation. Greedy, mean, and scheming, they bickered over who was getting the bigger share.
But within 10 minutes, their jaws hit the floor. The lawyer opened the door, and in walked a little girl, about 13 years old. Then the lawyer dropped the bomb:

I had a bad feeling when my reckless sister insisted on planning Grandpa's 90th birthday. I tried to warn my mom, but she brushed me off, telling me to trust her. So, I chipped in $50 and hoped for the best.

As a 16-year-old filled with ambition and dreams, Joey decided to leave home. Despite his love for his mother, Joey felt constrained by the life laid out for him on the farm. He left a farewell note to his mother, Flora, beside her old sewing machine.

"Dear Mom, By evening, you'll be back, but I won't be home. No, I wasn't kidnapped; I just finally decided to run away," Joey wrote in the letter he left behind.

"No matter how far I go, I'll always love you. I'm sorry. Take care. With love, Joey."

After taking one last look at the house he lived in with his mother after his father's death, Joey turned around and walked away without once glancing back.

POOL CLEANER FINDS A SECRET DOOR IN A LATE OLD LADY'S POOL & BUYS HIS OWN MANSION NEXT WEEK
At the cleaning company, Will listened intently as Jacob, the manager, assigned tasks. The mention of a job at a creepy mansion made everyone hesitate. But Will knew the job paid about five times the regular tasks, so he volunteered, albeit hesitantly.
"I-I'll take it!" he said, and everyone turned to look at him.
Will worked hard the entire day, cleaning the pool and draining its water. When it got dark and the pool was empty, he noticed a strange door handle at the bottom.
He was curious and tried to open the door, fighting with the handle until it suddenly opened, and water came pouring out.
Trying to get away, Will slipped and fell right into the muddy bottom of the pool.
"Curiosity really kills the cat," he groaned as he tried to get up. But every time he did, he'd slip, except one time, his hand caught the small door handle. When he pulled it, more water splashed on him, but behind the door, he found something amazing.👇
