What is the strength of a Prusik knot
The key to selecting a good prusik cord is to find something soft and supple. The smaller the eye when you squeeze a bite the better. The tensile strength of accessory cord varies significantly depending on the manufacturer and diameter but in general falls in the 7 – 10 kN range for 6.0 – 7.0 mm cord.

The BEST horse-tying hitch!!

The Highwayman’s hitch is a quick-release draw hitch used for temporarily securing a load that will need to be released easily and cleanly. The hitch can be untied with a tug of the working end, even when under tension. The highwayman's hitch can be tied in the middle of a rope, and so the working end does not need to be passed around the anchor when tying or releasing.

What knot doesn‘t weaken rope?
Bowline. The bowline is probably the most common way to create a loop in a rope. The advantage of a bowline is that as tension is applied to the rope, the knot tightens on itself without weakening the actual rope, slipping, or binding.
