Massive performing week for the Kay @ Sounds Big family! Logan opened his LaGuardia HS performance of “Into the Woods” on Thursday with his beloved friends and cast/crew.

Logan performs again @ LaGuardia tonight!

Concurrently, Andrew & Kaitlin (her Carnegie debut!) are performing @ Carnegie Hall tonight - with the Cecilia Chorus under Mark Shapiro - Bach’s Kantate #63 & Bernstein’s Mass & Chichester Psalms!

Then, they do it all again Sunday - Logan as Cinderella’s Prince and Andrew with the Messiah tenor solos with full orchestra and chorus @ WSP.

A time of wonder and awe as we share in community - and for the community - the gift of music!

Soprano, Kaitlin Kleinau, and I recorded a fantastic and "chilling" rendition of Henry Purcell's "Cold Song" from King Lear for film-maker, Tommy Allecco's next short, "Let 'Em Soak." here is a preview to wet the palette for the film!

Had an excellent recording session this past Monday @ Saint Patrick's for Morgan Ballard Wheeler. 16 vocalists performed Anton Bruckner's "Christus Factus Est" in the lovely and reverberant space. Congrats to Morgan on directing and the chorus for a fine job! Take a listen!

Sounds Big went to Plattduetsche Park in Franklin Square. Germany took the fußball victory that day and we took the men's 1 litre Maßkrugstemmen victory in 4 mins 21 sec!

That secured us 2 tickets to the Central Park Oktoberfest, delicious german beer and I believe a $100 GC!

Thanks Plattduetsche Park, George Müller, Eric & Anita Hoffmann, Mike Rabus & Connie Schaeffer for all the fun!

Sounds Big (Logan and I) spent the evening singing @ St. Ann & The Holy Trinity with lovely Rebecca Nelson soloing with The Grace Choral - directed by Jason Asbury, & The Brooklyn Chamber Orchestra - directed by Phillip Nuzzo, for this “A Night at the Opera“ concert. It was a brilliant performance!
