Say hello to Dorka Standard — designer, builder, and visionary behind DStandard Home.

The inspiration for the kitchen began with the cabinets. Because it was a collaborative space, Dorka wanted the design to flow seamlessly rather than feel like two separate visions. She felt the original layout missed an opportunity, so she incorporated a banquette eating area that ties into the kitchen cabinets’ structure and color, creating a stronger sense of connection.
