AFTER MEETING MY DAUGHTERS, EVERY MAN I DATED WOULD BREAK UP WITH ME - SO I BROUGHT HOME A "FAKE" BOYFRIEND TO FIGURE OUT WHY.
It took me three short-term relationships to figure out what was going on. The same scenario kept happening: we would go on dates and have a great time, then, I would introduce my boyfriend to my kids, and boom! He would be gone. They all knew in advance that I had daughters, so it shouldn't have been a surprise to them. I tried to find out what went wrong, but they would just ghost me.
After the third time, I asked my male friend from work to help me out. I brought him home for dinner and introduced him to the girls as my new boyfriend. At dinner, I made sure to leave the room long enough for my friend to connect with the girls. When I came back, he was paler than usual, nervously gripping his fork.
The next morning, I asked him what happened, and he took me aside to confess.

Peter had tears in his eyes. "I love you Dad, and I love this farm, but I want to follow my dream, and being a farmer is not my dream."

A week later, Peter's father, Andrew came home and gave Peter an envelope. Inside was a check for $450,000. "I sold the farm, Peter," Andrew said. "My father gave it to me to assure my future, now I want to assure yours."

Before Peter could react, Andrew turned his back and went up to his room. He sat with his grandfather's photo in his hands, and Peter heard him whisper, "I'm sorry, Grandpa, but I had to sell the farm, I had to set my boy free."

The next morning, Peter saw that his father's old truck was gone. He went upstairs to Andrew's room and saw that his father's clothes were gone too, along with his mother's portrait.

Then Peter noticed an envelope on the bed and opened it.

"Josh, your mom’s gone," my dad said one day after coming home. I was just eight, and even though my mom had been in the hospital for a while, I clung to the hope that she’d come back. His words hit hard, and they've echoed in my mind ever since. I wasn’t even given a chance to say goodbye. Before I could process anything, dad packed us up and moved us to a new city, calling it a “fresh start.”
A few days after the move, a woman named Erika showed up at our place. My dad introduced her as his “friend.” Just a couple of months later, they were married.
Over time, it was clear that accepting Erika as my mom just wasn’t happening. She never tried, either—in fact, she made it clear she didn’t like me. Our fights got so bad that I eventually ran away and returned to my old hometown. While wandering the streets, I saw a homeless woman sitting nearby. When she looked up, I stopped in my tracks—it was my mom.

My husband has been going on vacation with his family to the islands FOR A WEEK EVERY YEAR for the past 12 years. He never took me or our kids with him. When I asked why, he said that HIS MOM DIDN’T WANT TO SEE ANY IN-LAWS on that vacation, and he didn’t want to look after the kids by himself. ENTITLED GUARD DENIED MY WIFE ENTRY TO THE MOVIE THEATER – HIS REASON STUNNED ME, SO I CAME BACK TO TAKE REVENGE FOR MY BELOVED.

My dear wife, Grace, is retired. Recently, she was excited to watch a movie she had been looking forward to. While visiting the movie theater, she approached the entrance with her ticket, ready for a relaxing evening.

However, the guard at the door stopped her, glanced at her ticket, and dismissively said:

"YOU CAN'T COME IN. THIS MOVIE ISN'T FOR PEOPLE LIKE YOU."

He offered no further explanation, leaving Grace feeling humiliated and bewildered.

Grace came home in tears, deeply upset. Seeing her like that broke my heart, but soon, my sadness turned to anger. ABSOLUTELY NO ONE HAS THE RIGHT TO TREAT MY WIFE LIKE THAT and expect to face no consequences. I decided I was going to give that guard a lesson he wouldn't forget.
