Excited to announce that the Latin Jazz album - Life Is Grand by Joe Gonzalez has officially been released under the DeKora digital label. DeKora Will over the marketing and distribution for this project.
Born March 12, 1953, and raised in the San Juan Hill section of Manhattan, Joseph “Joe” González grew up in the shadows of New York’s elite musical epicenter, Lincoln Center. His parents forged a union of Italian and Puerto Rican heritage that would fill young Joseph and his sibling with cultural elements of the best of both worlds. The title track Life is Grand is co written by William Millán and features DāSo El Afro Caribeño on lead vocals. Other featured artists include:

A little more about the artist:
Joe traces his love of music back to the late 50s when he was first exposed to an eclectic array of music at home and in the projects. His family listened to a variety of styles that included songs by: Cortijo y su Combo, Jerry Vale, Charanga Duboney, Frank Sinatra, Machito y Graciela, Enrico Caruso, Roberto Ledesma, Dean Martin, Tito Rodríguez, Mario Lanza, and Tito Puente. Throw in some local doo-wop, “Smokey Robinson and the Miracles”, “Little Anthony and the Imperials” and “the Beatles”, and you get an idea of what the sonic ambiance was like in the González household.
