The American Songbook Association is committed to preserving and promoting this living legacy in the history and the development of the many genres that comprise it, from cabaret, popular song, musical theater, jazz, film, light opera, and more. The appreciation of the impact our musical culture continues to have on a global audience is the engine that drives us.
