ELDERLY NEIGHBOR PUT SOMETHING IN ALL OUR MAILBOXES AT NIGHT — WE CALLED A MEETING AFTER SEEING WHAT WAS INSIDE.

So, it's around midnight, and I'm just chilling, watching TV, when I spot something weird outside. Mr. Jenkins, our elderly neighbor, is sneaking around the street, hitting up every mailbox. Now, this guy's usually in bed by nine, so seeing him out that late? Already strange.

But he's not just walking around — he's opening mailboxes, dropping something in, and moving on, all nervous, like he doesn't want to get caught. He gets to my place and does the same thing — opens my mailbox, slips something in, and moves on. Part of me wanted to rush out there, but I decided to wait for other neighbors to wake up.

This morning, the whole neighborhood's buzzing. We finally decide to check our mailboxes together, preparing for the worst.

But what we found… made us all GASP.

FOUR YEARS AFTER MY HUSBAND WENT MISSING, HIS DOG BROUGHT ME THE JACKET HE WAS WEARING ON THE DAY HE DISAPPEARED

Four years have passed since my husband disappeared without a trace. He set out on a solo hike in the mountains, and no one has seen him since. Those years were incredibly hard for me and our two kids. Over time, we adjusted to life without him, even though we still think about him a lot.

Then, one day, out of nowhere, something crazy happened. I was lying on a blanket in our backyard when my husband's dog (whom I haven’t seen for 4 years because he disappeared with my husband that day) ran into our yard—with my husband’s jacket in its mouth. The very same jacket he wore on that hike!

I tried to get closer to the dog, but it took off running. I followed, running for about 20 minutes until we ended up in the woods not far from our neighborhood.

I kept chasing the dog until I couldn't run anymore and suddenly came across an old cabin hidden in the forest. I slowly walked up to it and finally worked up the nerve to open the door.

MY DAD CALLED MY MOM LAZY WHILE LYING ON THE SOFA HIMSELF, SO I TAUGHT HIM A REAL LESSON.

I came home from college for a weekend. And what I saw just blew my mind. There's my dad, lounging on the sofa as always, while my mom is running around doing everything — cooking, cleaning, laundry for our whole family.

But then, the absolute worst part, I hear my dad's voice, all sharp and annoying, cutting through everything to my mom, "Why is dinner cold again, Megan? CAN'T YOU DO ANYTHING RIGHT?"

I was like, totally shocked. With all my anger boiling up, I came up with this plan to teach my dad a lesson on how to appreciate what mom does for us. So, late that night, I called him up, pretending to be in the ER and ⬇️

WE ADOPTED A 3-YEAR-OLD BOY — WHEN MY HUSBAND WENT TO BATHE HIM FOR THE FIRST TIME, HE SHOUTED, 'WE MUST RETURN HIM!'

I’ve been married to my husband for 10 years, and after struggling to have a child, we decided to adopt. My husband, a busy businessman, didn’t have the time to focus on the process, so I took it upon myself to call agencies, submit paperwork, and review lists of children in need of homes.

We initially planned to adopt an infant, but the demand was high. Then I found a photo of a 3-year-old boy whose mother had abandoned him. The boy's big blue eyes captured my heart.

When I showed the photo to my husband, he liked Sam too. We talked it over and felt ready for this commitment.

So, we completed the paperwork and a month later, we brought Sam home. I was overjoyed! My husband even offered to bathe him for the first time to build a connection, and I felt so relieved that he was excited about becoming a dad.

But just a minute after they entered the bathroom, my husband ran out and shouted, "WE MUST RETURN HIM!"⬇️

ENTITLED MOM CLAIMED MY SEAT AT A CAFE — HER FACE TURNED RED WHEN I TAUGHT HER A LESSON OF RESPECT.

I was waiting for my friend at a local café. I took the two seats by the window, and as I was about to sit down, a lady slammed into me from behind.

"MOVE IT, WILL YOU? MY KIDS AND I NEED THESE SEATS!" she barked, not even offering an apology for nearly knocking me over.

"I'm sorry, but I'm waiting for someone," I replied, trying to keep my cool.

She crossed her arms, glaring at me with a sneer. "I don't care who you're waiting for. I'm friends with the owner, and I CAN HAVE YOU KICKED OUT OF HERE IN A SECOND! SO WHY DON'T YOU DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND SCRAM?!"

The words she used made my blood boil, but I stayed calm.

"Listen, sweetheart," she hissed, leaning in closer. "You don't know who you're dealing with. I'll make one call, and you'll be out of here, banned for good."

I looked over at the menu, and what I did next made her face turn red. She didn't expect that! ⬇️

Every porch seemed more decorated than the last, with spider webs and pumpkins.

But off to the side, something terrible happened: a little boy stood alone, dressed in a costume made from taped-together cardboard boxes.

A small group of children pointed at him and snickered, their laughter making the boy shrink back.

"Hey, you! Do your parents care so little about you that they let you come out in those rags?! You look like an idiot!" yelled the biggest bully, dressed as a pirate.

"Look at him! This is the worst Halloween outfit I've ever seen! Are you dressed as trash today?!" the kids continued to laugh, pointing at the boy.

The boy didn’t have any parents, which made their words sting even more. His eyes were red, as if he were trying hard not to cry.

This could have gone on for hours, but suddenly someone's adult voice stopped them.

"Hey there!" it said. The boy and his bullies turned their heads.
