I finally played in Glasgow!

I was invited by one of the most influential artists in our community, DJ Slam, who has been supporting my work since 2018! It was an incredible feeling to get to know the duo and understand their craft, as well as the secret to their staying together since 1987 and elevating the culture in their city: “Positive attitude and education,” was Orde’s answer!

My first discovery of the Soma label started with the track “Diablo” by Funk D’Void, and I managed to play it last night. I was really excited to find out that my first show in Glasgow would be at a club that has been open for nearly 30 years! In a world where everything changes so fast, playing in a venue like that means a lot nowadays!

The Scots are extremely talkative and friendly, and they love music. I went to a classical music concert and was shocked by how much they adore their national orchestra.

Taipei, the final stop on my month-long Asian journey, felt like a mix of the familiar and the unknown. The city’s vibrant vegan food scene, influenced by Buddhism, was a surprise, though some night market vendors offered more adventurous options like snake blood and turtle sperm—things I wisely avoided.

For just $5, I found a doctor, and for another $15, I embraced the ancient art of Chinese medicine and acupuncture. Taipei really knows how to heal you.

What amazed me the most was that everywhere we went, people were so kind and open, offering suggestions for places to see and things to try—everything from local fashion brands to listening bars.

Final, one of the most sophisticated venues I’ve ever played. I am still in awe of its design. With two rooms—one intimate with a bar, seating and the other a pure sound temple—its acoustics allowed me to experiment freely. The sleek, artistic space, blending metal, concrete, and glass, created a unique, inviting atmosphere. It not just a club; it is a sanctuary for music.

Seoul, Snow, and Sound System!

Thank you, , for having me! It was my third time in this complex city.

I enjoyed the lovely crew and the unique, intimate venue, Volnost, located in the Itaewon area, which features an excellent sound system, listening focused dance floor and “new music” focused bar on a first floor. It’s hidden 🤖🤖
I had the chance to meet many local DJs and learn more about the current scene in Seoul: it’s small scene and very passionate for heady music.

We spent three nights in Seoul and visited a few listening bars.

Kamran took me to Blue Monday, it was my favorite; it has 130,000 records, and you can request a song played by the owner, who has run the bar himself every evening for the last 35 years.

My favorite dish was kwamegi, and the best area to shop is Gangnam. A must-visit shop is Ader Error.

We boarded the high-speed train from Hangzhou to Wuhan, departing from the vast, gleaming West Rail Station, freshly unveiled and nearly empty. Passengers traveled with their suitcases and mesh bags filled with sweet potatoes, a glimpse into everyday life.

Our host in Wuhan, Mr. Mdm, a club owner, designer, and DJ from , spoke little English, while our Mandarin was equally sparse, making the experience all the more fascinating. With his long nails, sweeping black coat, platform red sneakers, cascading dark hair, and oversized silver earrings, he had a cinematic presence. He moved swiftly, and when he smiled, he transformed into someone entirely different.

The intimate venue of Mininini held a maximum of 70 people that night. Each guest danced as if the world was theirs alone, ravers adorned in vibrant, artistic makeup, a testament to their creativity. I could see the time they invested in their looks, which warmed my heart. Among them was Konstantin, a Russian-speaking guest who kindly helped us find a taxi after the gig.

That night in Wuhan felt like a dream, a fleeting moment suspended in time.

As we dive deeper into China, we find ourselves getting lost in translation!

“China is large. Larger than large. You tell me that the hearts of the people are measured by the size of the land. As large as silent,” said Theresa Hak Kyung Cha.

In Beijing, at times, we felt like we would never reach our final destination.

The fascinating infrastructure and endless routes, mixed with the old and the new, completely captivate you! It was extremely hard to navigate without knowing the language and dealing with a broken internet connection. Still, we managed to discover many beautiful and bizarre places. Not many people smiled back, but everyone was helpful with directions, translations, and good advice: “a good place to eat.”

Thank you, Groundless Factory, for having us. It was definitely a unique experience in Beijing that makes you think twice about life.

The first show of my Asia tour in China started well. is unique venue, full of details, hidden in an old mall, had an urban and skateboarding vibe that immediately set the right sonic mood.
The crowd was very enthusiastic and had excellent energy. Loopy has become one of the most important venues in China, I am very grateful to showcased my sound and visiting Hangzhou for a few days was a great choice. The phenomenal vegetation, with roses growing along the highways, delicious regional vegetarian cuisine, and of course, the memorable West Lake promenade, made for an unforgettable experience.

Must drink coffee at and try fermented tofu.
