The future of the teleprompter

This is an Augmented Reality contact lens. After conducting preclinical testing and taking steps to mitigate any safety risks, Mojo Vision's CEO, Drew Perkins, became the first person to wear the company's Augmented Reality contact lens. According to Perkins, the contact lens allowed him to view images, interact with a compass, and even use an on-screen teleprompter, leaving him speechless at the possibilities.

Unfortunately, the company behind the project decided to call it off. So, it looks like it’s not happening. Mojo Vision's smart contact lens project has been hampered by a lack of financial resources. Perkins explains that several factors have contributed to this situation, including the sluggish global economy, the limited availability of capital in the markets, and uncertainty about the potential demand for advanced AR products. In other words, the reason for the change is that Mojo has been unable to secure additional private funding to continue their work on the smart contact lens project.
