So much for the unofficial start to summer. The weather this Memorial Day Weekend is about as bad as it gets, cold, wet & windy. But is it the worst ever? Getting rain on all 3 weekend days is rare, but it has happened in recent history, including a couple years that were even worse than this one. By the way, Monday is looking better & better. Should be able to salvage some pool or beach time after all!

NOAA just did something they haven't done in a decade.
Why are they predicting a less active hurricane season for the Atlantic this year? The answer may lie over in the Pacific.
But while the total number may be down, we can still expect to see powerful hurricanes that rapidly intensify
