I RETURNED FROM MY BUSINESS TRIP TO FIND MY HUSBAND HOSTING MY OWN FUNERAL IN THE BACKYARD.

I was gone for a week β€” an important work thing, nothing crazy. I expected the usual when I came home: maybe the house a little messier than I left it, my husband, Jake, playing video games or something. Instead, I pull into the driveway, and there are cars everywhere. My heart starts racing and I'm thinking, "Did something happen?"

I make my way around the side of the house, and there it is: a full-blown FUNERAL… in my own backyard.

There were chairs lined up, flowers everywhere, people in black, and even A HUGE PICTURE OF… ME. My face. A giant, blown-up portrait of me looking peaceful, as if I was gone from this world. People I barely recognized were whispering, looking shocked to see me standing there, alive and well. Some folks even gasped, dropping their cups of lemonade.

I froze. I didn't even know what to say. My funeral? What in the world was going on?

I finally found my voice and walked straight to Jake, who was standing at the front, talking to the guests. "Jake, what is this? Why are you hosting my funeral?!"

I found out my husband Jack was cheating on me with his girl best friend, Megan, just before a family BBQ at my in-laws' house. I didn't tell Jack I knew because I didn't want to ruin the day for the kids, but I planned on confronting him later.

My latest flight was the wildest EVER!

Just minutes after takeoff, this weird woman started causing a scene out of nowhereβ€”yelling, throwing tantrums, and berating the flight attendants. Just for fun, I suppose. She even threw her food at one of them, leaving the girl in tears.

Three years ago, I found a flyer on my doorstep that read, "Professional actor available to visit your home dressed as Santa Claus to surprise your child." It had a phone number. That was the first time he came over and greeted my adopted son.

What was odd was that every year, he would stay at our house for at least three hours, playing with Dylan. "Does he only visit one kid per night?" I always wondered.

But this year's Christmas Eve was one I'll never forget. The actor, Harold, agreed to come again. He spent time with Dylan, but at one point, Dylan accidentally spilled his hot cocoa on Harold. MY MIL THREATENED TO EXCLUDE MY DAUGHTERS FROM OUR FAMILY TRIP.

I'm a mom of two girls, Emily (7) and Ava (5). After their dad passed away from cancer, it was tough, but I've done everything to keep us going. Then I met Jack two years ago, and he's been a real blessing for us. We recently got married, but his mom, my MIL, never accepted me or my girls. She's always been cold and made it clear she doesn't consider my daughters part of the family.

So, when my MIL announced a big family trip and asked for my girls' details to book tickets, I thought maybe, just maybe, she was starting to accept them. Silly me.

The day of the trip arrives, and at the airport, everything seems fine. But as we're heading to the check-in counter, MIL leans in and hisses, "Give me $600 right now, or I'll tell the airline I lost your little rascals' tickets. This is a family trip, and they ARE NOT."

I was stunned. My first thought was to leave with my girls, but I knew that wouldn't fix anything. So, I played along, handed her the money, and let her think she'd won. Little did she know, it was a part of my epic revenge plan. ⬇️
