Acclaimed Norwegian producer Ol’ Burger Beats is pleased to present the pre-order launch for 74: Out of Time (Reimagined), his masterful remix album that breathes new life into 2024’s acclaimed jazz rap opus. By weaving fresh, crate-dug beats and inventive jazz arrangements around the original vocals from the likes of Fly Anakin, Pink Siifu, billy woods, Awon, Gabe ‘Nandez, Quelle Chris, and others, Burger offers a bold reinterpretation that feels both nostalgic and innovative. Reimagined is available now for pre-order both digitally, and with a limited vinyl run, with a release date set for Feb 14th. I mentioned in our 2023 year-end wrap up that 2024 was shaping up to be a bigger year. In hindsight, that was an understatement. We more than quadrupled our output with a continuous release calendar. In addition to our new titles and reissues, we also launched DirtyScienceRecords.com, forming a strong D2C alliance with Blu & Ex. We also provided fulfillment services for several other artists and acts. With 2025 being our 20th year in business, I assure you that the best is yet to come. For the first time ever, Silent Weapons for Quiet Wars, the seminal debut from Killarmy, has been reissued on vinyl! Comprising 9th Prince, Killa Sin, Beretta 9, Islord, P.R. Terrorist, and Sh**un Assasson, Killarmy delivers a militant, unapologetically gritty aesthetic that redefined underground hip-hop. Guest contributions from Hell Razah, Masta Killa, Prodigal Sunn, and Streetlife enrich the project, while the production—helmed primarily by the iconic 4th Disciple—provides a hauntingly cinematic backdrop. We’re pleased to announce this deluxe edition vinyl reissue of one of the more revered and groundbreaking indie hip-hop releases of the mid-to-late ‘90s era. We’re talking about, Re:Release — which many of you fondly know as Clear Blue Skies — by the mighty Juggaknots fam. Shouts to , Buddy Slim and . Originally released as a nine-track EP on ’s legendary Fo**le ‘Em Records in 1996, the Juggaknots’ debut made a massive impact and would help lay the bedrock for what would become the Alternative hip hop subgenre that thrives today.

This special reissue includes an alternate cover, taken from the same shoot from the 2002 full length release. We’ve also included a six page insert equipped with a lyric sheet as well as a foreword written by DJ Cucumber Slice himself, Bobbito García. The album boasts a dope collage-style gatefold comprised of photo archives of vintage family photos, throwback pics and show flyers. Special shouts to for the dope job in putting the full layout together.

The audio is the same 23 song tracklist that’s currently available via DSPs. As for the vinyl, there’s three color variants NOW SHIPPING, along with a classic black version (swipe left). First up is the edition (shown above), which is pressed on Sea Blue & White A-Side/B-Side vinyl (750 units w/ foil logo + numbering). Next is the Ghostly Blue edition, exclusive to (limited to 100, hand-numbered units). We’ve also partnered w/ for a Clear Tan w/ Baby Blue splatter version (limited to 200 units). Autographed copies will also be available at no extra charge, at The Juggaknots in-store performance at Rough Trade NYC which will be announced later today!

By now, many have seen “the list,” and so we’re honored to revive these two gems as our official releases for 2024. ‘The Natural’ and ‘Ghetto Millionaire’ are two personal favorites from this era which reflect a time period where indie labels like Blunt Recordings were creating classics and challenging the major label establishment.

Big shouts to the legendary and . Both titles will be limited to 1,000 units each, and marks the first time that each title has been reissued in over a decade. The Natural is pressed on clear gold discs, with Ghetto Millionaire pressed on aqua blue and black ice vinyl (swipe left). Special thanks to the incredible for the restoration work. An ambitious jazz rap record, 74: Out of Time is a truly gorgeous represenation of hip-hop through the lens of the Noorwegian producer/jazz composer. Using 74bpm as his basis, Burger constructs sublime, jazzy instrumentals that feature some of hip-hop’s finest emcees and vocalists. And to say they all gel perfectly together is an understatement. Each song blends seamlessly from one to the next spread across the album’s 17 tracks, with the help from a standout supporting cast that includes Fly Anakin, Awon, Quelle Chris, Pink Siifu, YUNGMORPHEUS, Lojii, billy woods, Tha God Fahim, Vic Spencer and Vuyo, among several others.

In addition to classic black vinyl, there’s two hand-numbered vinyl variants limited to 74 copies each that are exclusive to his Bandcamp profile. The records are also available as part of a slipmat bundle. The slipmats are double-sided and can be purchased individually (as a pair). We also have a limited run of cassettes (includes an O-Card over the Norelco case). The cassettes could be purchased as a bundle with custom playing cards, and the playing cards could be purchased as a stand alone item. I moved from from Brooklyn to LA in late 2021 to run point at Fat Beats as their new GM/Production Manager. It was a year that was more bitter than it was sweet, and after my year contract was up, and my employment was terminated, I felt that I had failed. Truth is, I did not fail. I learned, I grew and I pushed forward. In the year since, I refocused my efforts with Coalmine, signed some new acts, launched Coalmine Reissues, and by the end of the year, experienced our most prolific year-to-date. Even more, is that 2024 is already shaping up to be much bigger than 2023, with several new albums and classic reissues scheduled for release, starting with a special announcement this Friday. I’m grateful for my team, the talent I get to work with on a daily basis, and most importantly…new beginnings. Let’s go!!! 💎⛏️

Signed to Tommy Boy Records on the strength of his powerful verse on Mobb Deep’s “Give Up The Goods,” ’s plans for his debut album were waylaid by an unexpected trip up north.

With only a handful of completed songs in the can, it was left to to piece together this album, enlisting the talents of the extended Infamous Mobb family to contribute the remaining thun language.
