I SENT OUT CHRISTMAS POSTCARDS THIS YEAR – SOON AFTER, I RECEIVED A TEXT SAYING, "HON, THAT’S NOT YOUR HUBBY IN THE PIC!"
Five years ago, I met my husband, Thomas, at a coffee shop on a chilly autumn afternoon. Our romance blossomed beautifully, filled with laughter and adventures, and three years ago, we welcomed our son, Max, into our lives.
This year, I wanted to capture our smiles and memories, so I organized a Christmas family photo shoot and created festive cards to send to our closest relatives and friends. It was a long-held dream of mine, something I had never done before, and I was thrilled with the outcome. The experience felt joyful, and I cherished every moment—never suspecting that IT WOULD TURN INTO A DISASTER!
As I was scrolling through the festive photos I had just sent to my family, my phone buzzed with a message that froze me in my tracks. It was from my sister-in-law, Eliza:
“THE MAN IN YOUR CHRISTMAS PHOTO ISN’T YOUR HUSBAND.”
Confused, I replied, “What do you mean? How could that be?”
“JUST TAKE A CLOSER LOOK AT HIS RIGHT HAND,” she answered.⬇️
