While in Orlando I got to experience some really good eats... stay tuned for those.. but this right here... this was my 2nd time going to in the span of one week because it is just that good.. folks kept raving to me about Kelly's and they were not wrong!!! I usually have issues with dairy but this ice cream is pure with no nasty unnecessary ingredients freshly made and they let you sample all you like but that just makes your decision harder... so of you ever in FL getchu some Kelly's you will never go back to those who shall not be named!!!

Oxtails are a labor of love. The cleaning, trimming of excess fat, marinating, burning of the sugar for the first cook and then slow cooking them so they fall off the bone.... the payoff is worth it... now I need them to go back down to pre pre pandemic pricing. $$$$$ cuz bish.... anyway drool worthy photos are yours for the posterity and I am over here licking my fingers and dredging the rice in all of this gravy!!! Who out here tackling these babies?!?!?!?!! Now at some point I will get to these veggies...

My last night in Miami. We went to Havana 1957 a super popular restaurant on Española Way in Miami Beach... the place is super lit literally and figuratively... I enjoyed everything but the yuca. It was mushy, flavorless, and they didn't remove the veins. The guava mojito is a must have (if you like it sweet) I could have easily had like 3 of them😋 What I found interesting is that there is only one Spanish/Hispanic/Latino/// restaurant on Española Way. It is mostly Greek (1) and Italian with a sushi spot coming soon and another Cuban restaurant across the street on Washington. I guess it is gentrifying...

Sobe WFF was a world wind!! The amount of people, food, and drinks was beyond. I was blessed to be able to actually attend this while giving back. Shout out to all of the vendors, volunteers, suppliers, restaurants, ops, chefs, event managers, pr, sponsors, and the city of Miami for a great event.
