MY MIL MISTREATED MY SON FROM A PREVIOUS MARRIAGE WHEN I WASN'T AROUND – WHEN I FOUND OUT, I TAUGHT HER A PROPER LESSON
I've got two sons — one's 12 from my previous marriage, while the other's 6 from my current one. My older son's dad passed away, and four years later, I married my now-husband.
So, the other day, I decided to drop by my MIL's house (my current husband's mom) unannounced to bring some food and toys and spend a little time with my boys, who were staying there for summer break.
I walked in without knocking, thinking I'd surprise them, but what I heard froze me in my tracks. "PETER! I TOLD YOU TO STAY IN THE ROOM AND NOT COME OUT, YOU UNDERSTAND? YOU'RE PUNISHED, AND YOU'LL BE IN THAT ROOM ALONE UNTIL NIGHTFALL!"
"Grandma, please, I'm sorry!" I heard Peter cry.
"I'M NOT YOUR GRANDMA AND NEVER CALL ME THAT AGAIN!" she screamed.
I was stunned and furious. This woman always smiled at me like butter wouldn't melt when I saw her.

MY BOYFRIEND'S EX KICKED US OUT!!!
I met Paul right after I moved in. He was a friendly neighbor and turned out to be this super sweet single dad whose wife left. Our friendship turned into more, and to cut the long story short, I became pregnant. Life with Paul was like a dream, especially when our little one came along. I even moved in with him!
Then, one day, there was a knock, and a woman was at the door.
Me: "May I help you?"
Her: "WHO ARE YOU? And what are you doing in MY HOUSE?" the woman yelled, barging in without permission. "I'm Paul's wife! Get out, NOW!!"

I CAME HOME WITH MY NEWBORN TWINS TO FIND THE LOCKS CHANGED AND A NOTE.
I had just been discharged from the hospital after giving birth to my twin girls, Ella and Sophie. My husband, Derek, was supposed to pick us up, But at the last minute, he called.
"Mom's really unwell. I need to take her to the hospital. I can't pick you up,” he said, sounding rushed.
Disappointed but trying to stay calm, I called a taxi.
When I got home, I froze. My suitcases and bags were dumped on the doorstep. I approached the door, calling, "Derek?" but there was no answer.
I tried my key—it didn't work. The locks had been changed. My stomach dropped. That’s when I saw the note taped to one of the bags: "Get out of here with your little moochers! I know everything. Derek."
My heart stopped. I read the note three times, hoping I was hallucinating. But no.
Then the worst part began. ⬇️
