Recently, our bio-dynamics expert, Kesh, hosted some local school kids here at Tinja, taking them on a guided tour of our farm. Ever the storyteller, Kesh shared with the group how we farm organically and sustainability.

Naturally, there were many dirty hands and smiling faces at the end of the day from exploring the farm and gardens.

Small and large, we encourage groups to book and come explore our organic and bio-dynamic farm.

Q: Who is Matt Ravlich?
A: Matt is our cellar door manager at Lowe Family Wine Co.

Q: What is his background?
A: With over 12 years in hospitality, Matt's journey began with a passion for wine. He worked in various pubs in Sydney and Canberra before landing a significant role as a GM at Kelly's Irish Pub in Mudgee in 2020.

Q: When did he join Lowe Family Wine Co.?
A: Matt joined our team in February of this year, bringing his wealth of experience and enthusiasm for wine to our cellar door.

Q: What are his interests?
A: Matt's top interests include rugby, food, and booze, with a deep admiration for wine's unique expression of terroir.

Q: What does he think about wine?
A: To Matt, wine is pure magic, crafting moments of history with each bottle and vintage.

Q: What is his connection to Lowe's?
A: Matt believes Lowe Family Wine Co. is the epitome of Mudgee's finest. His father attended the same school as David Lowe, and Matt feels a strong connection to the values and commitment to land stewardship upheld by Lowe Family Wine Co.

Recently, we have been named one of Australia's top wineries by The Real Review.

This award pays homage to Mudgee's terroir. Having said that, we would also love to mention the other wineries around Mudgee that also won it. Congratulations to Huntington Estate, Robert Stein Vineyard, Gilbert Family Wines & Logan Wines.

We’re looking forward to the exciting collaboration at The Zin House this April & May 🙌

Ex-Printhie Head Chef, Jack Brown, is taking the reins at Zin for a two-month residency celebrating native ingredients from our Tinia Farm whilst embracing Kim's classic cooking ethos.

In Zin’s 10th year of regional dining, the partnership aims to highlight the regenerative work Nathan Lovett of Naway Yila Buradja has done reintroducing native plants to this Wiradjuri land, while allowing Jack to bring these diverse flavours to the menu alongside Zin Sous Chef, Keith Munroe, and tell stories through their cooking as First Nations chefs.
